That's the sentiment on my card using my set from Kim Hughes. I love her owls. . .and all of her birds. I hope to play around with some more bird stamps this weekend.
Sorry the picture is a little crooked. The first shot I took was blurry. Anyways. . .I colored it all in with my Copic markers. The ribbon is from a pack I got on QVC. . .long time ago. It's about time I used it. Think I'm going to send this to a friend who always makes me laugh!!
And this second card is from two sets from Paper Trey Ink. . .Green Thumb and Everyday Blessings. Amy R. inspired me with her card here. Isn't her's pretty with those colors??!! I love how she stamped the words over the boot so that's what I did. . .just wish it was a little darker so you could read it better. But here's my card:
Think I'm going to whip up a few more of these because I love this color combo. . .Cool Carribean, Vintage Violet and Groovy Guava. The ribbon is some I found on clearance at Target from their Club Wedd stuff. Thanks for the challenge Amy and for the inspiration!!

How about 3 more cards!
How's this for a comeback. . .3 more cards to make 4 for today!!
These are cards that I made a set of them for my son's teachers for teacher appreciation week. Just some random sets. . .but it was fun to do something simple for them!
This one I just used a stamp from the Little Bit of Happiness hostess set. . .colored it in with my Stampin' Up markers and matted it very simply. Clean and simple!
This one is from I forgot what set and I'm too lazy to go look it up. But I colored these in using my aquapainter and the re-inkers for mroe intense color. I stamped on watercolor paper too. I love watercoloring! It's relaxing to me!
This one I wish I had played with a little more. I love the stamp from Verve Visual and the sentiment. . .it just looks a little plain. Maybe a little more on the background?? Anyways, they were simple and fairly quick to make which was nice.
Let's see if I can keep the posting streak up!

I'm back?????
Well. . .not sure how much I'll really post. I haven't started out too great. But I thought I'd try again to post some things, at least once a week. How does that sound??
Let's see. . .what should I show you? How about the Fiesta invitations that I made for my son's auction basket at school.
Not the best lighting. I took it at night. But it was fun to make. I even added glitter to the rim of the glass for the salt! I'm loving the Tart and Tangy stamp set!
Watch for some more posts!

Thank you's
Since I took pictures of these, I thought I'd post these as well. These are the thank you's I made to send for our Christmas presents. One of my presents was a set of the circle Nestabilities. I LOVE them! I've seen so many other bloggers use them and I really wanted these. So my husband bought me the circles for Christmas. I use them with my Cuttlebug.
I colored in my image with Stampin' Up's markers and then did the grey outline using my Copic markers. The "thank you" words are from the new Level 2 Hostess set Spring Solitude. And the paper is from the designer prints pack. Very simple, but I love how it turned out!

Happy New Year. . .10 days late
Hello there. I'm going to try and update this more regularly. . .we'll see how I do. I wanted to post a card made with the new Time Well Spent. . .a Level 3 hostess set that all demos received for free. I like the set. . .it's just my style.
I kept this pretty simple. It was made for a friend. I stamped the flower three times as well as the stem. I watercolored them using my Aqua Painter. I got some of the new Bali Breeze designer paper and used that behind my image as well as the Purely Pomegranate ribbon. I like this color combo: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava and Taken with Teal. Try it out and see what you can do!

Christmas blessings
Here is a quick Christmas card that I made for my Secret Santa. . .in very non-traditional Christmas colors. But I LOVE how it turned out! The stamp is from Stampendous. . .just adorable. I've seen so many other blogs posting with these stamps. I think I need more!
The card base is Perfect Plum and stamped with the now retired Linen background. I'm so glad I snatched this one up! I used the Regal Rose ribbon and learned how to put that one nicely watch KWerner's make a card Monday video. Watch it for yourself and see how she did it. Why didn't I ever think of that????
Anyways, hope you like it. Now if I could only get the rest of my Christmas cards done!!

Ballerina chapstick folder
Thought I'd share another something I made for my craft show. I loved the chapstick folders the ladies were making on SCS so I made one and decorated it with this cute ballerina girl from the All In The Family set. Sold these for $3 each or 2 for $5. Still have some left. . .think I'll have to find some sweet girls to give these too!
Now. . .I'm off to get ready for Michael W. Smith in concert! He's here for his Christmas tour and I can't wait!!!

Wow. . .it's been a while!!
Has it really been that long??? I guess it has. I have been so busy!! I did two craft shows. . .one was great, the other was a bust! I've been working like crazy on my orders that I got there. That, plus being Mom, wife and volunteer at church and my kids' school. . .it's been crazy. I'm so sorry I've been neglecting the blog. I'm going to do much better about posting now. At least, that's my goal.
Stampin' Up's new retirement list is up!! So many sets going! A bunch that I own!! Guess that's OK tho. Click here to view the list. Interested in ordering any? Contact me and I'll be happy to order them for you.
Here's a picture of the Cocoa-to-go boxes that I sold at my show. I priced them at $3 each or 2 for $5. A lot of people liked them. They make the perfect little teacher's gift. . .or for the bus driver. . .or your mailman. Who doesn't like hot chocolate???!!! I hope you like them. They are just french fry boxes with a hot chocolate packet, a peppermint stick and a small bag of marshmellows. Put it in a cello bag and tie it up with ribbon.
Hope you have a great weekend. And watch for me to be around more often!

Manicure-in-a-jar
I made four of these for the craft show I was in last weekend. I thought they were adorable. . .guess a few other people thought so too. I sold three of the four. I think I may make up a couple more for the show I'm doing next weekend. I need to get cranking! It's coming up quickly!! Hope you like it!

Pick a Posey
I just love this stamp set. I hated it when it retired! I have a lot of flower sets, but I do tend to use this one a lot.
Anyways, this card I made for my upline's shoebox swap. She lives up north so I'm not able to be there in person, so I made my cards ahead of time and will mail them to her. In turn, I will get 9 different cards/projects back. I can't wait to see what I get! Last time there were so many neat things!
I made this using Beate's awesome Emerging Colors tutorial. Great directions! It's a little time consuming with the brayering, but well worth the effect! My husband was WOWed!! He still can't figure out how I did it. So give the tutorial a try. You'll be impressed with the results!
